Why We Needed to Do This
When I left my job in Corporate America in April 2025, I had been doing logo design and branding projects for local businesses, and also small social media posting campaigns.
At that time, Shared Graphics ranked only in a very small local area, for Logo Design, in the few neighborhoods around me.
I wanted to move more into what we now specialize in, which is web design and Local SEO for local businesses in Murrieta, Temecula, and the Inland Empire.
In short, we needed our own service for our own company.
What better way to prove we can do it?
It was time to roll up our sleeves, and get to work on proving our worth.
The Process: Rebuilding and Optimizing the Smart Way
The city we’re located in, is Murrieta, California.

I needed my website to rank higher in search results for terms such as ‘Web Designer Murrieta’, ‘Graphic Designer Murrieta’, or ‘Web Designer Near Me’. This is exactly what potential customers are searching for when looking for a local business like Shared Graphics.
The strategy in Local SEO, is to show up right when your local customers are searching for you, ready to buy, or take action.
90 Days to Make Maximum Local SEO Impact
One of the myths in SEO, is that it takes years to make changes to rankings, and writing tons of blog posts.
To totally bust that myth 100% wide open, I gave us just 90 days to completely destroy and rebuild my website to rank higher than ever before.
As always for any local business, the goal is to be in at least the top 3 search results, to show up on the ‘Local Pack 3’.
IF we showed up in the pack 3 on Google Places, Shared Graphics would show up in the best place possible, above the organic search results.
I wanted to ALSO show up highly in the organic search results.
This would not only give us a SECOND position on the first page of Google, it further proves good solid SEO doesn’t take years at all.
And no, I would not be posting 4 blog posts a month for 2 years, or doing anything of the sort.
Start Date: June 1st 2025
While working in Corporate America I worked long hours, and could only design part time. So, I targeted small graphic design projects, and logo design.
I ranked in the top 3-5 positions on Google Maps, and received a few logo design and branding jobs, without advertising.
My 90 Day target put us at August 30th. I needed to completely reposition the business from scratch, and get better rankings than ever before… …so my work was cut out.
Here’s what I did next:
- Redesigned the Shared Graphics home page to target web design & SEO clients in this area
- Redesigned service pages and order they appeared in
- Took some pages down (content can often compete and make other pages rank lower)
- Started working with clients, and asking for reviews
- Put testimonials and social proof from previous clients, on the Shared Graphics website
- Posted more on social media about Local SEO and web design results
- Executed all on-site, and off-site strategies, including reputation management, and competition management
Results on August 30th, 2025
As you can see from this graph… …right around June 1st there’s a big drop in search rankings.
This is the time I destroyed the site SEO for logo design, and started rebuilding from scratch, targeting web design and SEO.
The phone completely stopped ringing, and the logo design work stopped coming in.
June was a quiet month.

As you can see within 30 days or so, everything starter to shift. Our Google rankings started to climb very quickly.
Our rankings climbed so quickly, by August 30th I had more than DOUBLED the amount of keywords that Shared Graphics was ranking for.
Not only that, we then ranked in the Pack 3, and number one in the organic search results for your target keyword of ‘Web designer murrieta.’
This was a massive improvement. We were ranking on the first page of Google Places, and it was pretty easy to find us.
But, we didn’t stop there…

Throughout September and October 2025, the Shared Graphics website continued to get MASSIVE gains in Google local search rankings.
Remember, my goal was to get to position 3 or higher within 90 days?
Well, we definitely knocked it out of the park on that one, but this is how we’re doing today…
I just did some live searches this morning, and here are the things I searched for:

- Web Design Murrieta
- Graphic Designer Murrieta
- Logo Design Murrieta
- Landing Page Design Murrieta
- Brand design Murrieta
For ALL of the above searches, Shared Graphics is now in position number one on Google.
It took just 4 short months to get there and hold that position.

Also, just below the Google Places Pack in the organic search results, the Shared Graphics home page is in position one, or at least in the top 3 ALL of these terms.
This gives Shared Graphics 2 incredibly strong positions on Google.
